NYC Announces Traffic Restriction Mandates for 2018!
If you haven’t already heard, Mayor de Blasio announced new initiatives City Hall believes will help ease traffic congestion. The new mandates are currently expected to go into effect January 1, 2018, but this may change. These new mandates not only apply to Swede Farms, but to all commercial delivery companies!
If your account is affected by this, we will be in touch with you to make sure we can continue to provide you with the best delivery service possible. Please note, we are working closely with our trade group, the Northeast Dairy Foods Association, to keep updated on this ever-evolving situation as there are a lot of moving parts. The NEDFA is also working with other industries that have trucks in the City to try to come up with compromises to propose to the City regarding these restrictions.
